  1. Northern Lights

I’ve been collecting LiFeP04 batteries for a couple of months now and I’m impressed with how easy they are to charge, and easy to store with my emergency kit supplies.
I have converted four ordinary table lamps from 120 volt, to 12 volt, by switching bulbs. To make sure that the lamps never get plugged into a wall receptacle, I cut off the cord ends and soldered alligator clips onto the cords.
Within just a couple of minutes, I can have dependable lighting that lasts for many hours.

Finally this Very Long Lasting LiFePO4 very light weight battery is even cheaper than 20 Ni-MH AA batteries (10 in series/2 of 10’s in parallel), this will give you similar voltage as this small one battery plus all 20 AA batteries will goes around 5 amp plus it much heavier that this 1 extra ampere = to 6 amp. Last night; I was using this battery for Icom ID-800H amateur radio on 5 watt (is around 15 watts battery drainage). As receive plus audio that draws around 5 watts. I was doing lots of talking and listening for more than 2 and half hours, I still cannot able to kill this small battery. After use; as no-load voltage on this battery were; 13.02 volt, another good stuff from China for more than 2,000 charging cycles.

I got this for my fish finder. I use it as a backup to my 10Ah main battery. I put this one on my Noco charger and it charged from its arrival voltage of 11.94v to12.9v or so in a few hours.

I am only rating this a four for now because it is not fishing season and I have not had a chance to take it out on the water, although I did power on my Garmin 93esv (9” screen fish finder) with it, including sensor and had no problems.

If it proves to be good on the water (or bad) I will revise.
